Safe Driving For Life
The benefits of an intensive course
• You can gain a full licence in a shorter time frame
• You can schedule your training around educational or work holidays
• Intensive courses can work out more cost effective as you may learn to drive in a shorter time frame
How intensive will the course be?
• Students learn at different speeds. The instructor will assess your ability and help you decide how many lessons are required in order for you to reach the desired standard of driving for your test
When should the course start?
• As soon as you reach your 17th birthday we would recommend that you start with one lesson once a week until you have passed your theory test.
• Once you have passed your theory test you can apply for your practical test which maybe several weeks away. At this time you increase the number of lessons each week in order to reach the desired standard
• Of course, intensive courses can be started at anytime if you are already learning to drive
Are there any disadvantages with an intensive driving course?
• Intensive courses are not for everybody. You should consider your learning capability and speed of learning before you embark on a course.
The DSA recommends a minimum of 40 hours of profession tuition.
For the average beginner we would recommend 10 hours per week.
For the average learner who is already part trained we offer a 30 or 20 hour intensive course
All courses are usually 2 hours per day. However, this can be tailored to your needs.
